TRADE - New Broker...

Alright, so I've been in touch with a very helpful representative for a new company. Of course, they're always helpful when they initially want your business, but hopefully this company is different. I have a feeling haha. So I should have an account with my new broker tomorrow, then I just need to fax in a funds transfer form and get my current broker to deposit my money in my new account. I hope that goes smoothly. I have a feeling they will be annoying about things and won't fuck off with the phone calls, so we will have to see.

On a lighter note there was a trade today. I was not a part of it. But I watched the video recap and it looked very exciting. The news release was the CAD GDP I believe and it seemed like a very nice trade. Everyone seemed to pull in an easy 30 pips (using the broker I will be using in hopefully a weeks time). So that is definitely exciting. Stay tuned my young deciples, if everything goes smoothly for the first month I will "leak" some info. Info that would put you in the same place that I am. Not that it is anything super secret, but it is nice to have a finger pointing you in the right direction. So keep checking everybody. There will most definitely be many new trades to post in the weeks to come. Next week, probably not so much, but the following week I am fairly certain I will bring some light to the table. Hopefully.

TRADE - Hmmm

Like clockwork. I told you I'd be back.

Well I was suprisingly happy with how everything went. Even though my shitty ass broker never filled me on the auto click so I had to manually enter which pretty much resulted in me making nil for profit. But the auto click worked amazing. I am going to open up an account with a new broker this week and will hopefully be trading with them by the end of this week or early next week. Everyone else in the room got fills around 50 or less. Mine was 77... So I pretty much got a fill 27 pips off from what everyone else did. I still managed to make a measly 3 pips. But hey, it's better than loosing 3 right. But yes. I will be changing brokers soon. Here's an image for you all to oogle over.

As you can see that is a nice sized candle, unfortunatly I was only able to get in at the end of it because my broker is a piece of garbage shit. But the autoclick worked beautifully.

TRADE - NEWS

Wellllll.. I signed up and am ready to go. So in about 4 hours I will try my first news trade. There is no saying at this point in time whether or not the numbers will come out and be tradable. So I will either be back here in 4-5 hours (maybe more if I'm tired and want to sleep before I post) with an overview. I will let everyone know how it goes. I have a feeling it won't be traded but I'm hoping it will. I will only be trading 1 or 2 mini lots for this first trade because I have no idea how my broker will handle this. So we shall see. Wish me luck.

TRADE NO TRADE

Well I was busy again the past couple of days. I worked today, so I never really had time to trade last night, wasn't really feeling it the night before, or I didn't have time, can't remember. And it's Thanksgiving today so the market was deaaad, and probablly won't be to active until next week.. But on a good note, I shouldn't have to work much if at all next week, so I should be able to get the news trading shit setup. Wish me luck my peoples.

TRADE/LIFE - Alright, here's the deal...

I can't remember if I posted this or not, but I'm going back to school (Corespondents) to get my high level math. I just started it about a week, a week and a half ago. I have also been working the past couple weeks so I have been fairly busy compared to normal. As a result I have not had much time at the computer, so I haven't been trading.

Now here is what I am going to do. I will start trading again probably tonight. Now if I run my account down to $1400 I am going to stop with the technical BS (I plan on stopping with that anyway) and I am going to start with the news trading. I just need to get everything ready for that. Before I start with the news trading I am going to put my other 400 some odd $$ account into my current $14-- account. So I will have about $18-- to work with. I will be trading 5 mini lots initially while trading the news. With probably a 30 pip stop loss. 30 or 20, or I may use a trailing stop. Still haven't decided, and I still don't know if a trailing stop on initial entry is even possible with my current broker. But lets say I'm using a 30 pip stop loss, that means I risk loosing 30 pips, at $5, so $150 if the trade goes against me, hard.

BUT...

With that being said, I do not expect to loose while news trading. If I loose I expect a small loss of maybe 5-10 pips, and MAYBE the odd 30 pip loss. My profit potential target will be about 15-50 pips per trade. I am going to do the news trading threw a guy that holds a little chat room and lets people use his software for it. This will be my trial. The reason I am going to school again is so that I can upgrade my math and get into a computer programming class, and program some software of my own. For now I will have to use his, along with his advice. He has yet to loose a trade in 4-5 months though. This is simply because he basis his trades off of the deviation of the news release and he generally only trades if it is deemed as "safe". What this means is probably about 10 trades a month with 0 expected to be looses, but if I'm unlucky 1 or 2 may be. IMO this is a way better way to trade, but it is also harder simply because of the broker's asociated with the Forex market. Being that forex is unregulated, the broker's essentially create their own market for the traders. Which means that I may not be entered into my trades if my broker is being a douchbag. So it could be interesting. I may have to switch brokers and test some different ones out while attempting this news trading business.
Another good thing though. He posts a video of the trade after every trade, so I will link you guys (and possibly gals) to that so that you can see what goes down.

But for now I will try and resume my technical trading, even though I've been out of it for a while now. Remember though, if I run my account to $1400 I will stop with the technical crap and the news analyst strategy will come into play.

Forex on hold...

Well this week I have to start on my Pure Math (high Gr.12 level math, I need to upgrade for college)... And I think I will be working basically all week. So I don't think I will have much time for trading so Forex is going on hold.

Also..

I will be debating taking my money out of my account for the time being.. Them last few loosers have kind of got me in a downer mood. And to be honest, all I really want to do is start trading the news. So I may give up Forex for the time being, until I can build my capital to about 5K and start trading again. We will see though. I'll give that some thought this week.

TRADE - Donnie Darko

Ok so I've read up a little bit in the past hour. And i'm not the only one that seems to think that this week was a fairly weird week for the market. The market moving in odd directions for different news releases. So maaybeeee I'll have more of a chance next week. I'm going to try to trade different hours though, now that I have some school work to do. So I think i'll start trading the US session instead of the London session. Hopefully next week isn't so fucked up for me.

It was a winner at one point in time, but the bitch went against me. I'm real good at loosing money though so oh well. Maybe I should have been paying more attention to the computor.. And less attention to rolling things haha.

TRADE - Yesterday

Well yesterday was a fairly shitty day again. I won a couple, lost a couple, and came out at what I started with for the day.

So my account balance is still $1466

I made the charts and shit for my trades, but I'm not going to bother posting them seeing as how nothing has really changed since my last post. And I didn't make the last chart for the last trade I did so they arn't all there haha. The last trade I did though was almost a looser to, but I scaled in and turned it into a slight winner. I think I'm going to work on my winning trades and go for bigger wins. But right now the market is in kind of a wierd pattern (it is retesting old highs) so I think I will do some reading tonight and then maybe go for a less trades, with higher potential. I'm sick of making little wins and only jumping in on trades where I think the market will reverse. I have yet to jump in on a trade where I simply ride the trend, and I think that is one of my biggest problems. But we shall see. Tonight I may not have any trades to post, it made just be an informational night.

TRADE - FUCK

Well... So far today has been complete shit. I ended yesterday off with a loosing trade. A trade that I sat and watched for 3 hours and it didn't do nothing. So I got out of it and went to bed. This morning I wake up and the trade went in my favor! It would have been a winner. Fuck that's some gay shit if you ask me.

So then I decided I want to jump into the market as soon as I get up, because it looks like it's really poppin today. Probablly because of the stupid fucking Americans and their stupid fucking election. So I jump in at a point that looks as if it is a really safe buy...

WRONG. Yay, I just lost $17 ... It's all good though, I'll make it back!

MISTAKE.

The market prys another $14 of my not so hard earned money out of my not so dead cold hands. FUCK THE MARKET.

By this point I was pissed. So I basically just wanted atleast 1 win and blindly jumped into the market, but quickly relized my stupid fucking mistake and closed that out at -$6. What a fucking morning. And I was going to go to work today.

But oh well, looks like i'll have to try and make that back now. I'm going to give myself an hour or so to cool off, or I don't think i'll be on the winning side of anything.

This is the -$10 trade from yesterday. I made the trade today so the market is a litle ahead of it's time.

-$17, yay for me

-$14, another proud moment in my trading history.

And to top it all off, I just need to loose a weee bit more. -$6

Now to be perfectly clear, all of the trades that I took were not BAD trades. Except for the last one of course, that was just me being a fucking idiot. But the two prior to that hit strong resistance levels and could have easily reversed at those points, but they didn't. Oh well, gotta brush my shoulders off. WWJD? (That stands for what would Jay do.. Not fucking Jeesus).

TRADE - Interesting Night

Well, it's been an interesting night so far. I guess when it rains, it poors. Lucky for me I was equipped with a bucket ;). I had a couple rough breaks, but I was able to recover. Damn this market is a bitch haha.

As you can see here I was able to pull in a cool $5

And this is where it all started to go wrong... $0

-$10 ... Ouch, it's starting to rain a little too hard for my liking.

Another -$4, I think I've had enough of this.

Ahh, there we go, finished off with a +$11

I may or may not be done for the night, tough to say. I don't know if I am feeling it so much tonight, but I might try to give the market another chance.

Alright, so I just started trading this new account with the capital of $1500 about a week ago. I've been posting on a couple of forums how I have been doing and keeping track of my trades, but I've decided to just put it all into a blog.

I won't bother posting the images up until now, because I'm pretty much at break even agian, but here is how it went. Keep in mind at the start I was trading 5 mini lots at a time, hence the big loss. Since then I have kept it to 1 or 2 Mini Lots.

I have already run down a 2K account to $500, so I have been on the loosing side of things. I hope that I can turn that around now and become a successful trader.
